Lunar‘s history starts around 1991-1992, in early CD-ROM times, and in many ways is a reflection of that period’s fascination with the new-found freedom the CD offered. This game has a long, twisty, and sometimes messy history to it, and whenever I think of this franchise, I can’t help but think what a massive missed opportunity it all was.
